Gentlemen at Work

Dashing Tweeds make splendid tweeds in bold, dandiacal colours, woven to the highest standards using traditional Highland crofter's looms. They kindly lent The Chap a selection of their garments, all made by the best Savile Row tailors, for our two gadabouts to try out. Neil Ridley and Horation Scotney-Le Cheyne donned a range of Dashing Tweeds' outfits and put them through their paces in a typical "working" day in central London.

After a hearty breakfast in the Pillars of Hercules, the principal business of the day begins - choosing a nag in the afternoon's race meetings

With the size of one's salary left in the capable hands of Mr. William Hill esq, our two chums repair to Maison Bertaux for a spot of afternoon tea and cake

They are joined by the redoubtable Miss Wendy Bevan, who happened to drop in to collect some petits fours for her cat

When darkness falls, it is time for our two chaps, now exhausted after the day's work, to don their special reflective cycling capes for a spin back to William Hill, where their day's pay packets await them
