Since
the first issue in February 1999, The Chap has been inviting stars
of stage, screen and gutter to reply to our questionnaire. Although
at first it seemed that most of the ideal respondents were languishing
in various graveyards across the globe (Le Mesurier, Howard, Niven,
Brummell et al), upon closer inspection there appeared to be a
number of suitable candidates still (only just, in some cases)
living. Here you will find the replies of a select handful of
those who responded to our request. Those who deigned not
to reply are probably worth mentioning as well:
Christopher
Eubank (prize-fighter)
AA Gill
(restaurant & television critic)
Terry
Jones (comedic historian)
Michael
Palin (comedic traveller)
Tom Baker
(thespian)
Brian
Sewell (comedic art critic)
Penelope
Keith (posh thespian)
Helena
Bonham-Carter (goth thespian)
Sir Roger
Moore (comedic James Bond)
Tom Wolfe
(author)
Will
Self (author)
